BAJ’ers Help the BAA with a Major Donation
The Bloomington based Born Again Jocks (BAJ) has given the Bloomington Athletic Association (BAA) a generous donation of $6,000. The $6,000 will be used to offer scholarships to young BAA athletics pay for registration fees and sporting equipment.
The $6,000 was raised by the BAJ’ers last October when they sponsored a pancake and sausage breakfast for the Bloomington community. BAJs also gave $4,000 to Kennedy HS and Jefferson HS for 2 scholarships at each school worth $1,000.
The annual pancake breakfast is held each year on the first Sunday of October. (October 4 in 2026.) The members prepare all the food, work as servers, and run a silent auction. All the profits are donated to various organizations serving the youth of Bloomington.
Larry and Ralph delivered a check for $6,000 to Will Easton, president of t he BAA. On behalf of the BAA Will accepted the donation and thanks the BAJ for our generosity.
For the third consecutive year the local Born Again Jocks (BAJs) have given $10,000 to a local Bloomington-based youth sports program and to four Bloomington graduating seniors.
